20 Different Brick Textures for Photoshop
If you have spent some time on any photography website, such as Flickr, you must have noticed some images having, say, an old vintage look to them. I am not talking about those images that are really old. I am talking about the pictures that were new but were modified to look old. In fact Instagram has an easy to use option where you can change the look of your image by just a click of a button. Instagram calls this feature “filter”. For example if you use the filter named 1977 your image will change to look like as though it was taken ages ago.
Such features can be achieved in Photoshop through textures. The term texture when used in Photoshop pertains to an image that is used on top of your other image that when modified using blend modes or opacity gives a texture on your image. This texture need not necessarily be a simple background. In fact it could be anything like another photograph. However generally speaking, this texture will be photographs or scans of old pieces of paper, fabric, a hand written letter, etc. But it could also be an image of clouds, rain drops on a windshield, a broken pattern, water bubbles, reflections of all sorts, etc.
Below I present you with 20 different brick textures for Photoshop.
