50 Inspiring Polar Panorama Artworks
Suppose you saw a spectacular scenery somewhere which spread from the east to the west and you took an image of the scene with your camera. Now, since the image is too large horizontally you need a very long paper to get it printed. Besides even after you get it printed you will face problems as to where to store it? Albums have space for much smaller sized images. Your desk’s drawer is certainly not that long to get occupied by it. And perhaps your wall won’t look nice with such a long frame on it. Modern day technology comes to your rescue.
You can manipulate your image such that all the ingredients of that long sized scenic beauty can be twisted to fit into a smaller space. This form of imagery is known as polar panorama. In this method the image is twisted into a circular form to form a disc and one end of the image is joined to its other end. Not only this method saves a lot of space but it is also a unique way to modify and edit your original photographs. Your friends will be a bit surprised and fascinated when you will show them the images that you would have modified using this polar panoramic method.
This method is especially useful to construct circular posters for CDs and DVDs.
