Beautiful Ramadan Desktop Wallpapers (2012)

We’re in the middle of the holy month of Ramadan where Muslims worldwide will observe fasting from dawn til dusk for a full month. Not a drop of water or a morsel of food will touch the lips of devout Muslims for periods of up to 12 hours a day until the end of the Ramadan period. Apart from restraining from food and water, Muslims will devote more time to prayers and recitations from the holy book, the Quran, refrain from sinful speech and behavior as well as to be charitable to the less fortunate through zakat.

The annual soul-cleansing ritual will culminate in a month of festivities known as Eid ul-Fitr, a beautiful festival celebrated with food, reunions, entertainment and acts of blessing and forgiveness.
